Zarif, our Turkish import and our foundation dog Pazar
just produced their first litter of puppies on January 20, 2010. Zarif gave
birth to 12 healthy puppies! True to form, "Z" knows just what to do and she and all the puppies are doing very well. She was able to birth and nurse all 12 without any help, serious and diligent through and through. At 8 weeks, the puppies are weened and Mom insisted on going back with the sheep so she is back at work. Pups come to visit her every day and she takes a break to love on each one.
